In order to change the size of breast implants, Dr. Pousti would remove the current breast implants and replace them with either smaller or larger breast implants. The procedure can take about 1 hour, as long as there are no other complications. Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Pousti takes his time in the operating room to make sure that he does what he can to achieve the patients results.

 

Patients do not experience much pain after this procedure since there is already a pocket for the implants and the pectoralis muscle has already been stretched. Recovery time is minimal, however, they may experience some discomfort if larger implants are used. Patients are still required to wear the surgical bra for support, but not for the full 4 weeks.

 

Driving may be resumed in 1-2 weeks.Non-contact sports in 3 weeks.Contact sports in 6 weeks.
